Sidewalk space is very limited in Kowloon -- shopping pressure is enormous, goods are stacked almost to the curb, sellers chat, wheel and deal as the crowds surge by. The prices are usually high, and high pressure sales tactics are to be expected. Kowloon's best known shopping street is Nathan Road. It offers plenty of merchandise but few bargains.
