Cat Street is lodged high on the hill overlooking Hong Kong Island's Central District. Its official name is Upper Lascar Row, but legend has it that cat burglars once sold stolen goods here, so Cat Street is what its called. Antiques and second hand goods have traded here for 150 years. This shop specializes in political and advertising novelties. I've framed a heap of discarded emperors and politicians with an early 20th Century beer ad, a huge Mao Button, and a poster from China's 1960's Cultural Revolution.
