Freedom at the Bird Market, Chengdu<br> China picture - The birds for sale in Chengdu's Bird Market were locked away in cages, yet this particular bird was busily strutting from stall to stall, stopping here and there to chirp at a cage. I have no idea why it was the only free bird in town, and the bird merchant in this picture pays no heed to him either.
