Little town The drive to this town was a long one, it is about 7 hours from Mexico City to the east coast, if you have enough time for traveling the highways in a rental car I would suggest to visit this small town, not long ago, this city was named something like a National Monument city. The town/s people are very proud of their small city, and I think they should be! Along the city, there is a big river and a park where you can sit down and enjoy a cold drink under a palm tree, the main food is *sea food*. Veracruz is a warm state because it/s a coastal state, but it has seasons which it would made a visit really pleasant, it was for us in the month of July. The trip there was really a pleasure to take, all you see is tropical jungle. Some parts of the highways, you will be in natural tunnels made of trees and once in a while you would see small tends where town/s people will be selling fresh fruit like coconuts, pineapples, papayas, bananas of all kinds, mangos and fruits that would be exotic to find in the USA. Something we don/t get to see here where we live. This views are going to stay in my mind forever. And it is not that I am prejudicious about this beautiful and exotic state for the reason that I am from Veracruz :o)
