We have our wonderful vacation at Pulau Redang (Redang Island), Terengganu, Malaysia on 22-24th May 2004. We also have a short visit to Perhentian island and Lang Tengah island.

Camera used: Olympus C-750, Canon Ixus 400 and Kodak waterproof camera (personally i think this brand is better than fujifxxlm, the photo taken underwater is sharper and more colourful).

Some problem use my camaera
when i take photo yesterday, i broken the nb-3l battery for drop it in the water. So i found and bought a new nb-3l battery in http://www.canon-digital-camera-battery.co.uk/batteries/canon-nb-3l.htm just now, hope get it soon.

i've been to redang,for a nature lover its the best place for a holiday..but to all girls out there be carefull of the friendly services from the workers or the divers or lifeguard there.. why am i saying this is bcoz the peoples in redang most of them actually practise black magic to harrassed women..so b carefull pls!!

I wanted to add that I like the food at that Malay coffee house. As you rightly pointed out, the food is good yet cheap. But I must also say that the F&B prices at Berjaya Redang was cheap. At least, as far as I am concern, it was very reasonable when I was there. But $45 a head for the BBQ is easily 10 to 15 % cheaper than Berjaya Tioman.

I was at Palau Redang in the summer of 2002. On that visit, a Pasir Panhang, I did not see any housing more than some humble Malay Kampong dwellings. It was quiet. It was so natural. It was so much kept to the basic. It was the least touristic and civilised. The Mo Mo Cha house was in the middle rather than tugging on one end of the beach as it is now. With that concrete monsters of Laguana Redang Resort now taking up the entire beach front, that spoiled the entire enviroment. The once idylic beach is gone forever.What a shame! What a pity!

I think that little roof might be a place to stand if it's raining? Or, to hook a boat to? Let us know if you find out! I loved the palm trees in the night scene! Did you know, there are more than 2,200 kinds of palm trees in the world? That's a LOT! A double-headed parrot fish? That seems kind of unusual, would like to know more about this! Thanks!
