Redang Island in eastern Malaysia is noted for its beaches, unspoiled crystal claear water and rich marine life. It is an extremely popular rest and recreation spot amongst the more seasoned travellers from Europe and Japan.

Palau Redang (Redang Island) is remote and rooms are scarce, especially during the peak months between April and October. There are chalets of various prices found in Pasir Panjang Beach. But none can compare and compete with Berjaya Redand Beach Resort, which occupies a well-sheltered private beach and lies on the other end of the island.

The rate is good, very good if you are paying in greenback. It is roughly $90 for a room that comes with breakfasts and diner. Isn/t that great.
