In 1917, Francisco and Jacinta & Lucia (the only survivor & now a nun) saw the Virgin Mary in the town of Fatima. From there, it became one of the most famous religious towns in the world.

After Monica and I did our brief encounter in Fatima, we ventured off to Leiria (pics bottom half) for our friend Susan's wedding.

After the wedding, I left for Ilhas Berlengas with some friends for a day in the sun. Ofcourse, once we made it to shore after a pretty rough boat ride.
