During our stay in southern Spain in July, 2001, we took a side trip to Tanger (this is the way they spell it in Morocco). We were a little leary of going to a country so totally different than the USA on our own, so we decided to take a tour. The cost was quite reasonable (approximately $40.00 for the day). This included the bus ride from our resort close to Marabella and the ferry from Gibraltar.
