Tarrafal village is a small seaside resort in the Norh of Santiago, a vacation place mostly for local people ( foreign tourists are in extreme minority, authenticity and convivial atmosphere are safe ). During week ends, the place is a bit crowed with Praia inhabitants who come to have a break here, but during the week, everything's quiet and having a break here, lodged in one of the simple but clean bungalows located in a palm forest along the beach is a good break in paradise.
