Boa Vista - Derelict on the Beach<br> Spectacular Views in Cape Verde picture - On a desert white sandy beach suddenly stands "Cabo de Santa Maria" derelict. This spanish boat, grounded here in 1968 has never been removed from the place and is now considered as a sight by the few tourists here. To my mind, this is also symbolic of the released state in which is Boa Vista at the moment.
