The natural barrier formed by cliffs encloses clouds inside the island, creating important precipitations in this area. The cliffs side thats turned over the sea is more sunny, so more hot, dry and rocky but just behind spread green valleys where humidity is drained by mountains declivities. Copyright Nicolas Pietri
