The northern part of Santo Antao is one of the most privileged place in Cabo Verde, where dryness usually predominates. In the heart of high mountains spread great valleys, real oceans of greenness nuances. By coming from the high tops of the neighbouring mountains and entering in Passagem valley, where human beings work in perfect complicity with nature, a humid tropical climate suddenly invades atmosphere to turn landscape into a real jungle.
