A typical edifice built at the middle of sugar-canes and bananas in Ribeira da Cruz, in the western part of Santo Antao. Approaching the coast, after crossing the arid landscapes of the West, nature becomes again more generous and allows at last some irrigations in this part too. Copyright Nicolas Pietri
