Mindelo is a typically colonial city. Along the streets of the city centre, a nostalgic feeling float in the atmosphere, and architecture reminds some famous Latinos cities like La Havana. Sao Vicente is a part of African continent, but the local culture makes it closer to South America, this is an aspect of those fascinating cultural contrasts between the islands of Cape Verde.
