This unique mountain can be seen from way off. It is so unique in statue because of its form and ridges.The winding road to the base is surrounded by trees, and you are able to view the mountain from every angle. It is a very interresting sight. The ground is covered by all size boulders, as the matter of fact some look like they are about to roll off and fall on you. The Visitors Center on the base of the mountain has artifacs and the legend of the mountain which is that a bear tried to get to the Indians that were on top. In actuality it's the core of a vulcano, and the ridges is the hardened lava that came from the center. While I was there , I saw some people climbing to the top.
