Natal South Coast, South Africa

When visiting Africa, South Africa is a definate must! With its beautiful coast line, game parks, mountains and friendly, relaxed atmosphere it just cant be missed.

I have chosen some photos of a few beaches on the Natal South Coast. My fiancé and I recently visited my parents who live in Margate. Although it was winter in South Africa during our visit, the weather was gorgeous and we enjoyed evening walks along the beaches, night fishing and loads more.

Margate and the lower South Coast is very special- I have recently retired and live in Ramsgate which borders on the Southern part of Margate. What a beautiful part of the world and with its great climate and away from the hussel and bussel of city life and all the amenities on our door step plus our wonderful Blue Flag beach here in Ramsgate, one could not ask for a better place to retire to.

great area
I have been lucky enough to Visit the Natal south coast area three times! The last time was just in October/November 2002. I never went as far as Margate. My grand dad used to live in Scottburgh so when I was a child and visited that was mainly where we stayed. i remember the monkeys in his backyard. Also got to spend a bit of time in Durban. another great place where i have some cousins and family. I miss it now. Thanks for the pics.
