Dana tells me they are even more picturesque with snowcaps, but even so, I wasn't really prepared for the grandeur laid out before me in these mountain vistas. Afterall, I'm just a simple flatlander from the US eastcoast, and the only thing I've seen remotely comparable is the Vail ski resort in January. These are breathtaking ranges. (be assured that the camera does not do this scenery justice, especially under the particular weather conditions this day)
