While the castle at Bran is in a better state of repair, it is very bright and small compared to the eerie castle at Hunedoara. This is the stuff nightmares might be made of. Due to its state of disrepair, unfortunately, much of the castle is currently inaccessible to the public, and some of it simply isn't there anymore. Still, it's worth a visit.
