<noembed><nolayer><div style="position:absolute; left:0; top:-100; display:none;"> Your Tax Dollars at Work!<br> Sightseeing in Romania picture - During Ceausescu&#39;s communist reign, many daunting projects were undertaken. This parliament building, intended to be the realization of his vision of having everything governmental located here in Bucuresti, is one of the most impressive examples. It is the second largest building in the world, behind only the Pentagon in Washington, DC. Like most of his other ambitious capital projects, this remains a work in progress, as the economy currently doesn&#39;t possess sufficient means to finish the few projects that actually will be completed. Many, unlike this, will continue to sit in a state of half-construction and vacancy indefinitely. In the lower inset, you can see another aspect of the culture, wherein management of public and private lands is not of much interest here. You wouldn&#39;t see the Ellipse in DC looking like this side lot of the parliament building. </div></nolayer></noembed>
