There are but two ways to reach Heron Island. The catamaran is the more economical mode. For those in a rush to get there, a helicopter shuttle is available. The catamaran takes a bit over two hours. Travel sickness bags are abundant throughout the vessel! The waters can and sometimes do get quite choppy!
