We cannot bring back the beauty of what was lost, any more than we can replace every man woman or child we lost to this disaster. But maybe we can rebuild, so we can show that they didn't bring us, as a nation, with, New York, as what represents us and continues to stand tall. So they will know how insugnificant their ploy to destroy us, is. And by rebuilding they can see how really small they really are compared to what we can accomplish in a short time. The People who lost their lives deserve for us to remember them in a strong way. And they would not want or expect us to sit back and mourn forever. And that is what these monsters expect us to do. Instead we must come back bigger and better than ever.

I hope someday again we will see the skyline return in defiance of those who wish us to roll over. They, the terrorists, truly have no concept that is born of reality in which they would understand of what we are made. How could they be so wrong??? Thanks for the pics. Thanks. We live in NYC and have probably seen more of Athens and Greece in those few weeks we were there, than we've seen of our city and country in our lifetime. Only when relatives come, do we get to take then somewhere and see it for ourselves as well.

Memories
Many thanks for your sharing those breathtaking New York shots!!! After having enjoyed visiting the many many WTC shops & restaurants on the ground floor and having had celebrated several holiday office parties on some of those 110 floors, it's still gut-wrenching to think about this nightmare attack and its aftermath effect. Your sharing of those photos, from New York City at another time, is very much appreciated by me as a New Yorker. It's a kind of bonding at this time. Thanks, again!!! I have some shots of the World Financial Center, prior to the attack, which I am planning to share, too. Continue forward, stay positive!!!
