In February 1993, during my Jerusalem stay, I was able to take this photo of the third holiest site in Islam -- the Dome of the Rock, with its distinctive golden roof. The mosque is located almost on top of the holiest site in the Jewish religion, the Wailing Wall, and just a short distance from one of Christianity's holiest sites, the scene of Christ's crucifixion and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. So many holy sites in such a small area!
