old part of the city We arrived at Salvador in the early afternoon and set out to explore the city we have so much heard about. We enjoyed the old houses the beautiful streets with the colorful houses the view of the sea and the wonderful people we encountered. Brazil is one of the countries that is blessed with it all especially with the music dances and people that are always smiling and helpful. The restaurants are very good and taxi driver will be more than glad to take you to the better restaurants. The famous food is called MUEQUECA hopefully spelled correctly its a casserole with shrimps fish and is amazing it takes a wile to prepare so be patient because everything in Brazil takes a little longer (they have all the time in the world) I hope you enjoy your visit if you do plan to go Just remember everything is much cheaper away from the hotel like taxies in the street very reliable and 1/3 of the price and artifacts as well.
