This fortress located in shoosh of Iran's Khuzestan Province, known as "The Acropol" or "Shoosh castle" is also a center for archeologists. The castle was severly damaged by Iraqi bombardment during the 8 year long Iran-Iraq war, but has now been restored to its old glory.
