Iran the world's largest collecton of valuable modern art outside of Europe and the U.S.A.. In this collection which is housed at the Museum of Contemporary Art in the capital Tehran, you will find the art of virtually any of the big names - Rembrandt, Monet, Dali, Renoir, Van Gogh, Cezanne, Gaugin, Picasso and Andy Warhol. Of the four remaining paintings of the infamous Adolf Hitler, two of them are housed in Tehran. Following the revolution 1979, the so called nudes have been kept hidden in the archives, but recently they have begun to reappear in the museum's exhibitions. You will also find the work of great contemporary Iranian artists at Tehran MoCA.
