Mirrors have always had a significant spiritual meaning in Iranian culture. The Iranians emphasize the importance of mirrors in a similar way as the Chinese do with their "Feng Zhui" concept. When Iranian couples are wed, they sit in front of a beautiful ornamental mirror, facing it. And when Iranians move to a new home, the first belongings they bring to their new home must be the Holy Qoran (Or Bible, Tooraat, etc., depending on their religion) and the ornamental mirror of the house.
