We visited Cumberland State Park in KY Oct. 2001 and walked the 7 miles on Eagles Falls Trail. It was a very strenous hike that took 3-4 hours to accomplish. You have to go up and down over 100 stairs and climb hills where upon reaching the top you only have a narrow trail to step upon for there are sheer drop-offs everywhere. You need to be in good health and have plenty of time for this trail. It is not advisable to have children on the trail. The rewards are tremendous though.
