Oslo (in Norway) is the city where I now live. The city was known as Christiania (Kristiania) from 1624 to 1924 in honour of king Christian IV of Norway-Denmark. He initiated the rebuilding of the city after it had been destroyed by fire. Ruins of the old city is located close to Bispevika, in and nearby Gamlebyen (=the Old City). Stones from the old city were used to build Akershus Fortress.
