I went with a mate to the Shannons Rally of Clare which was run in the Clare Valley. It was the last race in the South Australian Rally series. It had 38 entrants and the eventual winner was the crew of Mark Povey and Brendan Dearman in the Subaru Impreza WRX STi, second was Mark Dale in a Datsun 180B third went to Michael Clements and Malcolm Cox in their Toyota Celica GT4.
