Earlier this year I spent a few weeks volunteering at the Samaritan Trust of Blantyre streetchildren project, a project designed to get Malawi kids off the streets and into an environment where they can be cared for, develop skills and be educated in fields they would otherwise miss out on. Most children were orphans, many of them as a result of the AIDS epidemic.
