Taking Rudy's advice, I followed through on my plans for a New York long getaway weekend last week. I did a few things I had wanted to do on earlier trips and didn't have the time - like a Circle Line boat tour around Manhattan and a trip down to Coney Island -, I took in a couple shows (both Cabaret and The Vagina Monologues were great, and well worth working into your own New York plans), and I enjoyed the city's nightlife.
