Our summer 2004 European cruise concluded on the Bay of Biscay and the Atlantic Ocean. Our cruise ship stopped at Bilbao, Spain, where we visited its most prominent sight -- the Guggenheim Museum. We then sailed on to La Coruna, not far from Santiago de Compostela and its Romanesque Cathedral, said to contain the bones of St. James.
Following our visits in Spain, we moved on to Portugal, stopping first at Oporto, jumping off place for excursions to the historic cities of Guimaraes and Braga. Lisbon marked the conclusion of the
