This was our TJJ trip to Tioman Island on 11-13 Sept 2004. The 5 of us (divers) helped our Dive Center (B&J) to do a Crown of Thorn cleanup. While the rest did some snorkels by the bay. You can see that the corals growth over the bay has improved since my last dive in 2003. The table corals and marine life can be seen along the shores. We saw baby moral eels, humphead parrotfish, blue spotted sting ray, cleaner wrasses, olive ridley turtle, needlefish, and lotsa damselfish, parrotfish, nudibranch, giant clams, clownfish, etc. The viz during the dives was excellent at 25m, and calm seas.
