Bukit Tabur is located near Klang Gate Dam, Taman Melawati, Kuala Lumpur. This is one of the training program for the Borneo Expedition team.

Did u climb Mountain Kota kinabalu before ? Bukit Tabur is tougher than Mountain Kota kinabalu ? i m come from SAbah. Mt.Kota kinabalu is a mountain which i conquered it with successfully. Did u ?

I went to Bukit Tabur when I was 14. It was really nice. We could see KL city from there.

Location Bukit Tabur
Close to Taman Melawati...its the rock facing the road and parts of it can be seen while travelling on the Karak highway. Behind Bukit Tabur is the Klang Gates dam which supply our daily water to KL, and also many many long forgotten treks to the north (Janda Baik/Hulu Langat)and many nice quiet campsite (Lubuk Tedung).

The trek is rocky and requires a bit of scrambling up rocks with hands. Relatively safe, but caution to be taken for beginners, especially on steep walls.
