*One sight here that really cracked me up was when we saw 2 white guys perhaps in their mid-20's moving a small tree. Now that instantly caught the elder monk's attention thereby summoning them & asked "why are you guys cutting the tree?"

In reply, the 2 guys said they didn't cut the tree, they're actually going to plant it within the temples vicinity. In the back of my mind, I thought: "What the heck are these 2 white guys doing here planting trees?"

But then again, Buddhism is so appealing that these 2 guys are simply chipping-in & making the temple more beautiful. Maybe, they'll try monkhood just as to how some caucasians does since Thailand is the usual venue along learning the Art of the Thai masage.
