Chinese Elephants
The statue of the elephants is very nice. We didn't see anything like this in Xi'an. The stone elephants along the Avenue of the Animals at the Ming Tombs are quite realistic. They do not have the writing nor the exaggeration of the ears and trunks.

Just AWESOME picture of Mount St. Helens. In (August)1987 we drove from Randle to Cougar, as well as a short hike to Spirit Lake. The destroyed forest after the eruption of May 18, 1980, is just now beginning to show the first signs of coming back to life...
