"Over the past century, residents and visitors have admired Portlands landmark water reservoirs. Five of the original six remain in use. Nestled in two prominent locations Mt. Tabor Park and Washington Park these facilities collect and store millions of gallons of our drinking water before it is distributed to homes and businesses throughout the City. These reservoirs were built in 1894 and 1911."
