<noembed><nolayer><div style="position:absolute; left:0; top:-100; display:none;"> Sightseeing in Tuscany picture - Much recent historiography has more plausibly identified Diotisalvi - the architect of the Baptistery - as the architect of the Tower. The hypothesis of his intervention is corroborated by the presence of a personage of the same name in a document of 1174, and above all by the evident rhythmic and linguistic affinities between the structure of the Baptistery and that of the Tower. The dynamic conception of architectural space and the &#39;double&#39; structure based on a correlation between interior and exterior is in fact similar in the two buildings. </div></nolayer></noembed>
