Gunung Lang Recreational Park.. Huh? Where? Not many people are aware of this gem in Ipoh, though it's been around for ages.. It only recently officially opened its door to public with boating service starting from April of 2004. My family went with totally no expectation only to be rewarded with a lovely park completely unspoilt and teeming with wildlife (ok ok not that wild but excellent for bird watching, fish and monkeys feeding) It's off Jalan Kuala Kangsar a little further down from Perak Caves..(sign board is pretty inconspicious.. blink and you'll miss it).. I liked it so much i went back a second visit for a photo taking session to do it justice.. I hope I have done well but no pictures can beat fresh air, chirping sound of birds, smell of the flowers and the fun of actually being there... Do pay a visit before the vandals spoil it for everyone..

Definitely fun for the whole family..
