Myself and John flew to Geneva from London in September 2004 for a long weekend holiday of 4 days.
The weather was a little overcast, but the whole holiday was a great pleasure. For a start, flights from the UK are cheap & very quick (only 1.5 hours in the air), hence comfortable.
The airport at Geneva is close to the main town, no more than 15 minutes in a cab.
