Leonardo DiCaprio's "The Beach."

I titled this Leonardo DiCaprio's "The Beach" since it's here where that movie was filmed. Anyhow, this is a continuation of my long presentation on southern Thailand. It follows the previous article titled: "Ao Nang - another majestic Karst area." Hope you like the pics & this article. Thanks:)

Devastatingly Beautiful

My Utopia
Southern Thailand is my utopia and the pictures shown here should prove it. I will be exploring it hopfully soon and would love to hear about other travelers trips and experiences. I Live in Toronto, Canada and have never been to any tropical country but I still feel that I belong in the south. Instead of a prepackage tour of everything, staying in expensive hotels and resorts. I would rather stay in a hut on the beach, explore tropical forests, and do it all alone. The Beach has become one of my favorite movies of all time and has inspired me to do what I have always wanted to do, explore and experience.

Yeah, I feel the winter too here in San Francisco, California (my other home outside the Philippines). It may not be as cold as there in Europe but the weather here in S.F. is nevertheless cold for anyone from the tropics. And indeed how I also would love to be in "The Beach" now!
