Fjords in Norway (07/1999)

In 1999, we flew to Stavanger, the "oil-capital" of Norway and rented a car in order to explore the scenic fjords in the area. If you are a nature lover, Norway is a MUST. We can't wait to go back. Great pics Christine! You did a lot of wonderful trips. Hope you come to visit the Canadian Rockies sometime and visit us in Calgary. There is some nice scenery here too. http://www.telusplanet.net/public/slarti/ We also spent a few days in the Stavanger area a couple of years ago and had a great time hiking in the area of these fjords.

Congrats on making photo of the week, I did some time ago with a photo from amsterdam (see photo of the week gallery) I have only been to Norway once in my life, unfortunately it was a long time ago and I no longer have the photos (they were stolen when my house was burgled), but your photos bring back many fond memories, thank you!
