Port Erin (or in manx Purt Chiarn )is situated in the south of the Isle of Man. The beautiful bay has a sandy beach and is very popular in summer. To the right of the bay is Bradda head with Milner's tower at the top. Built in 1871 by the residences of Port Erin in honour of William Milner, a Liverpool safemaker (the shape of the tower is in the form of a lock)
