*One ugly aspect of travel here in Indonesia is smoking! I mean, the Indonesian men are HEAVY smokers that several guys we made friends with even brags how 90% of the men smokes whereas I thought it was 100%! Problem is, they simply light it anywhere even in air-con buses! Thus, you really will need to bring a nose cover like a hospitals surgical cup or else, you suffer BIG-TIME! (But what's really ironic is that women don't smoke & so, I didn't even see one female smoker throughout our long stay here.)
