The fast, air-con boat trip takes 5 hrs. 'coz the water dividing both countries is actually vast unlike how it's depicted in my map. Also, the ride can give you sea sickness 'coz the faster a ship goes, the bumpier it gets & so, be sure to take motion sickness pills before the trip or else, you'll be vomitting your brains out ! Likewise, don't eat a big breakfast prior to the trip. (Boat leaves Penang at 9 a.m.)
