Statue Of Maurice Duplessis.
Monuments & Memorials in Québec City picture - Quebec City: Charles Bray took this picture of the Statue of Maurice Duplessis [1890-l959] in which the monument is located in the garden of the Parliament and fact face at the street Gone Grande. Work represents Maurice Duplessis, Prime Minister for Quebec to the bar of the national Union, 1936 to 1939 and 1944 until its death in 1959, and was carved by Emile Brunet. For political reasons, the monument, finished into 1961 little after the death of the politician, was inaugurated only sixteen years later.
