But if the country is really poor, then expect the disgruntled, disfranchised, disillusioned people primarily the poor to be easily swayed into the militancy who's leaders will easily swoon them to the cause. Inshort, I'm straightening one fact here that is always missed by a lot of people & that is - Islam has nothing to do with the Islamic militancy not only here in Indonesia but the rest of the world as well. Rather, it's the extremists who uses Islam to their cause in order to increase membership. Unfortunately, there exists a lot of poor people who then sees the militancy as the only way to bring down those who causes their misery a.k.a. "the infidels". This is what the extremist leaders teach them. But if these people are not so poor, then it won't give them a reason to fight 'coz what person in his right frame of mind would want to die just for the extremist?
