As I mentioned just awhile ago, Islam here in Indonesia is pretty lax in general 'coz it really surprised me to see girlie magz, posters, & etc. almost anywhere we went. (You won't see those in Malaysia!)

Also, the women here wears jeans & long pants even if they have the head cover on unlike in Malaysia where women wears the head covers with traditional dresses & not jeans nor denims!

Moreover, music here (either western or local) is played loudly in public transportations, restaurants, & etc.

Last but not the least, the Indonesian fellas that we be-friended throughout the trip does admit that Islam here is not strict since it's hard to live that way.
