It really is disheartening for my cousin to have lost the films of Berastagi's traditional village called "Lingga" (as stated in the Berastagi article) 'coz the traditional houses there are equally-beautiful but looks totally different than the fine houses here. I mean, the houses in "Lingga" has very high triangular roofs (higher than the houses here) but are also made of bamboo husk like the ones you see here. Indeed, the triangular roof of Lingga's houses are so high that even a wide lense camera will have a hard time capturing it all in just one photo.
