Consuegra was one of the strongest castle in the wars against the muslims to reconquer the country. It was built by the romans, reinforced by the moors and, finally, once reconquered by the christian Kings given to the Knights of Calatrava. Is located to the south of Madrid (120 kms aprox.) and can be seen from the motorway to Andalusia (8 kms from Madridejos)
